Season review of the Moulin à Musique.

Posted on July 9th, 2014

74 performances / 6800 spectators in 2013-2014. A beautiful year for the Moulin!

Gros Paul. On tour with the Montreal Council for the Arts and in a few cities in Québec (Laval, Shawinigan, Sherbrooke and Québec). Gros Paul takes its spectators in an exciting and striking tale. The audience is carried away where music and storytelling strongly intertwine, in a captivating universe. – Julie Doneda, Assistant program director, Maison des Arts de Laval.

Our Gros Paul on the rise: Xavier Huard. He will appear on the small screen in two series next season on Radio-Canada. A name to remember!

New update! We are very proud to release our first CD-Book carried out in collaboration with Planète Rebelle! Available here!

Flutterby Butterfly, visual concert for children 8 and over. 27 performances this winter at the Henry-Teuscher auditorium. In collaboration with the Insectarium de Montréal / Espace pour la vie and Une école montréalaise pour tous. Success for this concert inspired by the fabulous metamorphosis of a butterfly’s life.

La Maîtresse rouge, a unique and unifying musical event in Québec. Visiting many elementary schools this year with the support of the program “la Culture à l’école”. A beneficial and collective  human experience… for life! Music instructors, directors, academic advisors: Today is the time to plan this activity for the next school year. New excerpts here.

It’s a rendez-vous in September to find out more about our upcoming season. Until then, have a great summer!
