The season rumbles with activity as Le Moulin à Musique prepares for the beginning of Winter and Spring! Don’t miss out on our shows in the upcoming months:

Gros Paul is on tour with Conseil des arts de Montréal and will be headed to several cities in Quebec, including Shawinigan, Sherbrooke and Quebec City. Xavier Huard, an upcoming actor, takes on the principal role as the narrator. Discover his talents and get to know the sell-out show that has captured many hearts through the monthly articles in the journal La Presse. Also: Watch out for the audio-book launch happening in March 2014 in collaboration with Planète Rebelle!

Attention to presenters! The show Gros Paul (available in French) can benefit from ‘l’aide à l’audace’ set up by the Conseil québécois de la musique. This financial aid allows presenters to receive a 20% help on the fees for shows listed on the platform circulationmusique.com. Please verify your eligibility here. Take this chance to welcome Gros Paul into your next season!

Flutterby, butterfly (Au rythme des papillons) is a visual concert for children aged 8 and up. It will be held in the auditorium Henry-Teuscher from February 22nd to March 8th 2014 in collaboration with the Insectarium de Montréal / Espace pour la vie, home to over 250 000 specimens and known internationally for its expertise and scientific work on insects, and Une école montréalaise pour tous, an organization dedicated to giving access to cultural events to children in schools with unfavourable conditions. Flutterby, butterfly invites its young audience to explore a butterfly’s life through a concert illustrated by scenes inspired by the fabulous butterfly metamorphosis (egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly). Highlighted in a fun and creative way, this journey will guide the young listeners towards a new understanding of music! Consult our calendar today!

The Red Teacher (La Maîtresse Rouge), a unique musical event that gathers the audience together in Quebec, continues to charm students in several schools with the support of the Culture à l’école program. And once the music begins, the magic shimmers in the air drawing the entire school and student population into moments of great delight and jubilation! This is an unforgettable experience of collectivity and humanity that soothes the soul and continues to do so… for life!

Thank you for following us in 2014… in person, on our website, on Facebook or on Twitter… Or all of the above!
